Candlestick bird green and blue clouds clay tealight

Standing 23cm high, this whimsical clay candlestick features two characters, they have been painted pale blue with white clouds and green. A little bird with a gold lustred beak perches at the top. The bowl of the head of the top character can hold a tealight or a small cacti.

This piece was painted with underglazes but not glazed giving a lovely raw texture to the surface. Handmade and fired three times in my home studio. This piece would be a lovely centrepiece on a table. A unique piece.
