Description
Imprinted into a terracotta clay slab are wildflowers collected from around my property here in Bingara NSW.
Consisting of 3 Clover varieties, Shepherds Purse, Dandelions and Wild Mustard.
I then pour Plaster over the top within a round dam, wait for it to dry and then the magic happens when you pull the clay from the plaster!
After waiting a week for it to fully dry I then applied a wash of Blue Grey acrylic to highlight the areas and applied 2 coats of satin varnish to protect it.
There is a copper loop hanger on the back, reinforced with resin for extra strength.
Measures 26cm in diameter.
Please note: This is for indoors only but will be OK on a veranda or porch wall, as long as it's protected from the harsh Australian elements.
