My work is often inspired by the natural environment, and living between the ocean and the lakes in Gippsland there is endless beauty to pay tribute to.

I'm in love with the egrets I see in the shallow waters of the mud flats here.

Each one is hand made, carved and painted. This one features a beautiful satin mat finish in green as the backdrop for the egret who stands in the shallow water with the full moon behind her. Or is it the sun?

The inside is a lovely glossy swirly blue.
