Blue Cathedral came to life after years of me believing I wasn’t capable of capturing the majesty of the ocean. My feelings of inadequacy stopped me trying. The fear of failure stops many of us from trying so many things and therefore achieving as much as we’re actually capable of. I grabbed my fear, stuffed it in a cupboard and tried anyway, just to see if I could do it… and I did it!
Blue Cathedral is stunning! It has a power, a presence and an energy that lifts the room and takes your breath away. The gorgeous blue and aqua colours of the ocean coupled with the white of the sea foam make this painting really stand out. The command and strength of the crashing wave, the glory of the colours and the sheer beauty of the ocean make my heart sing. I hope it does for you too.
