I made this clutch because I like fabrics that do the talking for you - and this black with gold tropical print cotton does that. It has a bit of depth and warmth to it, and depending on the light, the gold can look quite soft or a little more striking with a subtle sparkle. It works as well with something dressy as it does with something simple.

Each clutch is made by hand from start to finish in my home workspace. I select and cut the fabric so the pattern sits nicely on the front - this means every clutch looks slightly different. It is interfaced to give it structure so it's not floppy, and I sew the outer and lining pieces separately. I then finish the edges and shape the fold so it sits comfortably under your arm. A magnetic snap keeps the clutch safety closed.

Care:

I recommend spot cleaning where possible to keep the fabric looking its best. If needed, a gentle hand wash in cold water is fine, air dry flat, and avoid wringing it out.
