Bergschaf is a rare sheep breed from Italy and Austria. I have used this beautiful fluffy deep red wool to spin with alpaca fleece. The alpacas live peacefully on the outskirts of Armidale in the New England Tablelands of NSW. I prepared their raw fleece, and using my carder, blend it to make this slightly textured, strong, soft yarn. Minimum 120 metres, sold as a hank. Use the IG link to watch me spinning this yarn.
