I’m Kate from Narrow Road Living. My husband Scott and I are beekeepers and urban homesteaders in Warracknabeal, Victoria. I started making these after chatting with another maker about bread bags roomy enough for sourdough. I cut, sew and wax each bag here on our homestead.

Think of it as a reusable paper bread bag. Slip in your cooled loaf and roll the top down two or three times. The waxed cotton is breathable, and the bag folds flat between bakes.

• Size · Extra large, approximately 38 × 48 cm.
• Materials · Cotton coated with beeswax and a little jojoba oil.
• Care · Shake out the crumbs. Hand wash in cool water as needed and air dry.
