Bring traditional blacksmith craftsmanship to your next barbecue with this handcrafted BBQ Flipper. Individually forged from 10mm steel, each flipper is designed to be both practical and visually striking, making it a functional tool that is built to last.
The handle features a decorative twisted section and a forged hanging loop, providing both character and convenient storage when not in use. The working end is carefully tapered and shaped by hand, finishing in a curved flipper designed to help lift, turn, and move food on the barbecue with ease.
Measuring approximately 240–300mm in length, each BBQ flipper is individually forged, resulting in subtle variations that make every piece unique. The forged finish showcases the character of the steel and the craftsmanship involved in creating it.
At Butler Blacksmithing, each piece is made in my Australian workshop using traditional forging techniques and modern craftsmanship. Raw steel is shaped by hammer and anvil into functional and decorative items designed to be both beautiful and durable. No mass production, no shortcuts—just honest craftsmanship and a passion for working with steel.
The steel is finished with a coating of natural beeswax sourced from my own beehives, helping to protect the metal while enhancing the texture and character of the forged finish.
