Meet 'Batmonkey'...he is a brave sock monkey, approx. 43cm tall.
Batmonkey the Sock Monkey is handmade from a pair of dark grey socks and is very carefully filled with polyester filling. His pants, boots and gloves are made from a pair of black socks and are securely handstitched to Batmonkey. His hood, which is made from black felt, is not removable......but his cape, also made from black felt, is fastened at the neck by a small black press stud, so this can be removed. Batmonkey's belt and chest logo are handmade from felt and are carefully blanket stitched to his body.
Sock monkeys make the perfect friends because they are super soft and lovely to cuddle.....and are easily cleaned by gently hand washing in warm soapy water.
(Batmonkey is handmade to order each time by myself, so there may be some slight differences to the one in the picture).
Each sock animal is lovingly package up in brown paper and then decorated with a superhero POW! and twine.
Materials used: new cotton socks, felt, polyester filling and metal press stud.
