Hexagonal Box- Australian Timber- Tasmanian Blackwood

Handcrafted from premium Tasmanian blackwood, the hexagonal shape of this design shows off the varied grain of this timber. The body of the box is shaped from a solid block of blackwood and the lid is crafted from a specially selected complimentary piece.

Extensive detail work enhances the beauty of this design and attentive hand sanding ensures a quality finish, both inside and out. The exterior of the box is linished in a graded process before the lovely natural colour of the timber is protected and preserved with two coats of premium clear lacquer. The interior bottom of the box is lined with a cut to shape piece of wool felt, sourced from an Australian supplier. A great little box for storing small items and keepsakes.

Being hexagonal in shape the dimensions vary, so these measurements reflect the widest points-
Overall box dimensions- Widest length- 110 mm; Width- 100 mm; Height- 38 mm
Internal dimensions- Widest length- 80 mm; Width- 72 mm; Depth- 21 mm
