Christmas in Australia means summer and beautiful Australian wildflowers.
I have created Australian wildflowers and arranged them on Christmas wreaths made of either bamboo, rattan or twigs. They are approximately 35cm diameter.
The flowers are hand cut and crafted from wool blend felt sourced locally. The wildflowers represent flannel flowers, waratahs, proteas and gum blossoms and leaves.
Peeking out from the flowers is an occasional fairy wren hand needlefelted from Corriedale fleece.
Nestled on each of the wreaths are pretty bows, sparkly decorations and sprigs of wattle.
Each one is unique and cannot be recreated.
I include my personal card to introduce myself as the artist. They would make a perfect gift or spoil yourself and keep one. Use one for your door to welcome guests or a table centerpiece.
Customers have said they will keep theirs as an heirloom and bring them out for many years to come.
My pieces are all over the world, sent as a little piece of Australia for an international or local present. Reminders of just how beautiful our natural beauties are here in our colourful land.
I hope you love them.
