Yes. While anyone can attend, only current Madeit members can host an official Artisan Meetup. Hosting is one of the many perks of being part of the Madeit community.

Keep it simple. A quiet corner in a local café, a community hall, a shared studio space—wherever makers can gather comfortably. No need for anything fancy.
Most meetups start small. It could be you +1 to start with! On average we would imagine a regular monthly meetup may end up attracting 6-15 per month.
It's more about connection than crowd size.
Nope! You’ll follow our simple format: introductions, a share, a group conversation (with a prompt we provide), and a takeaway action. That’s it.
Not at all, it's just there for you to use to keep the flow going. You are the host, you get to navigate what feels right.
We do want the images/videos in a particular format so we can streamline the sharing process.
Yes. We’ll create custom graphics and share the meetup on our website, social media, and newsletter. You’re welcome to share it within your local networks too.

You’ll receive the monthly topic prompts and ongoing support from the Madeit team.
Monthly is ideal—but we’re flexible. Some hosts may prefer bi-monthly to start. Just let us know what works for you.
Absolutely. In fact, it’s encouraged. It can make the experience easier and even more fun.
