I am the jewellery artisan, and all of my creations begin as Australian-made ethically sourced 925 Sterling Silver wire and sheet. From this I make every component - settings, chain links, clasps, earring hooks - so you can be sure that each Karmic Star treasure is as individual as you are. Mike is the lapidary artisan, carefully and intuitively transforming rough stones into the shiny polished cabochons that are the centrepiece of our very special collection of collaborative Pendants.
Stones and crystals are the most wonderful materials to work with - to us they are so much more than simply inanimate objects, they are intriguing and beautiful to behold, and they all have their own unique energy. We take great care in selecting the stones that we use in our creations, choosing to source from local dealers and fossickers as much as we possibly can, because we love to hear the stories behind them just as much as we love to support other small businesses.

I offer free postage within Australia, and all parcels are sent Tracked with Australia Post and include Signature on Delivery, so please consider this when advising your address at checkout (it is your responsibility to provide accurate postage information). Please allow up to 15 business days, depending on your location - although it is usually a lot quicker than that!
All of my packaging is sustainable, biodegradable and/or recycled : all my pieces are presented in a Karmic Star gift box, made from recycled cardboard that is lovingly hand-stamped and folded by me, and wrapped with biodegradable paper ribbon.
I want you to be happy with your purchase but if something isn't right or you change your mind, please contact me first within 7 days. If a refund or exchange is arranged the item will need to be returned in its original condition within 14 days for a full refund. Return shipping is the buyers responsibility.
Please note : for health and safety reasons, returns and exchanges on earrings are not accepted.
Care instructions
Metal in all jewellery will tarnish over time - it's a natural process of oxidisation, and Sterling Silver can be brightened by gently wiping with a silver cloth.
Do not use chemical cleaners, and do not wear your jewellery while showering, swimming or exercising. Never spray perfume directly on your jewellery, or put on your jewellery too soon after applying body creams/oils.
This not only applies to the metal but more importantly the stones as some are softer (need more care from knocks and scratches) and some are more porous (can soak up oils/fragrances and discolour).
Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or extreme heat, which can cause some stones to fade.
