Every seller applies with photos of their process, tools, and workspace. Our team reviews each application personally, no automated approvals.

Once a seller is approved, we check back in to make sure that the items being added are all in alignment with our benchmarks.

Who owns Madeit?

Madeit is 100% Australian owned and operated owned by Leina Broughton, who purchased the platform in 2023 after selling her own fashion label. Since then, Madeit has evolved into a more connected, human-first marketplace focused on helping artisans thrive online.

How is Madeit different from Etsy?

You can buy and sell on Madeit but that’s where the similarities end. It is our mission and purpose to celebrate handmade and to change the way that people buy.
