Winter White / Cream Lace 1930s Style Evening Jacket / Kimono Wrap

This jacket is effortless glamour - an extra layer for the evening - something you can simply shrug on, to go from daytime to evening or to keep from getting cold when the weather is changeable.

Loose Kimono sleeves and generous draping at the back - easy to wear over almost everything.

Made from a cream / winter white lace fabric with a modern design. Seams are enclosed - French Seams. There are beautiful vintage pearl beads at the front corners and on the point of the back drape (so it hangs nicely & for extra glam!)

I took the pattern for this ingenious evening jacket from a 1930's garment. In the 1930s the emphasis was on the back - especially in evening wear and the ingenious design wastes no fabric (glamour without enviro-guilt !)

This garment is 'one-size-fits-all' but as a guide - the model in the photos is myself and I'm short (5foot 2) & plump.
