This candle core is repeatedly dipped in pigment-dyed hot liquid wax to layer on colours, upwards of 25 times. Once the dipping wax sequence is achieved, the warm pliable outer layers are then cut into delicate ribbons and curls creating the finished design. This carving process must be completed whilst the wax is still warm and pliable, usually within 10 minutes. The candles are then sealed with a protective water-based lacquer to add permanent shine.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eEach candle is made with love and attention to detail, suitable as a gift for all occasions.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eWhen lit, a unique play of light appears from the core through the intricate carved strips. The practice evolved from a simple light source to into decorative ornate objects and gifts. I studied a master class certificate through online correspondence from Candle Art.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eProduct Specifications:\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe candles are made using a high-quality paraffin wax with stearin incorporated in the core, a specially braided cotton wick and added pigment dyes in the dipping vats.
