The timber is sanded through progressive grits until smooth and the grain is fully revealed. The natural half is finished in a clear water-based protective coat. The opposite half is hand-painted in sage green. The splatter detail is then applied by hand — each piece receiving its own unique pattern that can never be exactly replicated.
