The embroidered waratah on the back was found in the local opp shop as an unused $2 kit. The only new material used in this piece is the 60\/40 wool\/poly wadding. Everything else has been re-used, including both zippers. The vest is a size 12-14 with roomy armholes to accomodate a light jumper worn underneath. It features two external pockets (one zippered) and two inside slip pockets ideal for wallet and phone. This project started out as a bucket-list item and was an itch I just had to scratch. It spent considerable time on my worktable in various stages of assembly until I finally completed it recently.
