Resin pendant with imbedded paper
This very unusual pendant is made in resin with a few cut off rolled strip of paper imbedded in it. The rolled paper strips comes from a Chinese newspaper that was recycled for a sculpture project a friend was making and these little left over pieces were recycled again into this pendant. The saddle & wire is made with recycled sterling silver wire on a black rubber necklace with a sterling silver bayonet clasp. The silver is left to a soft matte finish and slightly oxidised.
The resin pendant is about 47.2mm by 29.2mm and is 8.9mm thick and the black rubber cord is 40cm long.
