This beautiful paper has a cream base decorated with autumn leaves and botanical motifs in dark shades of blue. Flowing gold swirls ripple across the paper and the result is calm and unrushed.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eTo create each paper piece, I measure and cut from a larger sheet of paper, and fold into the final form. Small dots of craft adhesive are applied if needed for reinforcement.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eI have applied a light coat of lacquer to retain the texture of the paper and provide light surface protection.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe earrings feature tiny navy facetted rondelle glass beads, gold-coloured findings and are hung from 20mm 16K gold plated over brass thin hoops. The overall drop length (top to bottom) is 5cm.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eVery lightweight. Lightly lacquered, but avoid getting wet. They are pieces of wearable art – tiny imperfections are part of the look.
