As was customary at the time, it was likely one of many hundred matched pendants that were hung as ornamentation from a horse's harness\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIt is a truly stunning image: hundreds upon hundreds of identical pendants, all lined up in rows along the straps and reigns of a horse harness, bouncing and gleaming with the movement of the horse! ... Until one token eventually falls, trodden into the mud, only to lay there for the next 650 years.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThat lost token is now brought back to life, cast in jewellery-grade ancient bronze (copper and tin only), using a hand-sculpted master mould and the lost-wax method.
