I have blended a variety of colours of Merino Wool and Silk to create a toned down muted 'Spring Garden' inspired shade, and then spun it by hand on my Ashford spinning wheel. Once spun, I plied the handspun yarn with a pale green Tencel yarn.  It has then been handwoven on my small wooden loom primarily with the handspun yarn, but I have used some remnant yarn to add a decorative green detail throughout, and also incorporated some unspun wool roving to create a  gorgeous textural piece of fabric with a hand twisted fringe. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003ePlease note that due to the handcrafted characteristics of handspun yarn, there may be slight inconsistencies in thickness and ply, but this is an endearing part of the charm of handspun yarn and ensures that this piece is truly one of a kind.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThis scarf is an eco-conscious option, as the fibres are all naturally sustainable and compostable, ensuring that this handcrafted item can return to the earth after many cherished years.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eMaterials:  This scarf includes handspun Merino Wool, Silk, Australian Wool,  Tencel and a wooden button.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eMeasurements:  Approximate total length 220cm (including fringe), and approximately 200cm excluding fringe.
