Wonky Goblin – Zachariah (Zac) Goblinski
Zac is the very first “Wonky Goblin” that I created. It was my intention to create a doll that was slightly ‘not perfect’, but still with a quirkiness and cuteness to it. With this in mind, I squirrelled myself away in my
Sewing Nook (aka – the Spare Room with a sewing machine), and drafted out a pattern or two, until I was reasonably happy with the shape.
The fun part, as with all of my works, is the embellishments – to me this is when my creatures come to life, and in a manner of speaking, this is the time that they start to tell me who they are and how they want to be dressed.
All of my goblins are from the Goblinski family tree – some from far back in time, some from nowadays and a few from the future.

Zac is a lovely boy. He is totally in tune with nature and likes nothing better than to sit in the outdoors, listening to the sound of nature. Unfortunately, his land is frozen over for many, many months of the year, forcing him to wear his very best woolly vest and fur hat whenever he ventures outside. This pleases him though, as he also likes to look smart, which is why he is very proud of his gold earring and his crystal-studded collar. His aim in life is to have many animal friends, and so far, he has a menagerie of 20 squawking black birds, 5 chirping insects and 1 woolly woofer (puppy dog). He is content.
