Gouldian Finches are Australia’s most spectacularly coloured grassfinches. In Indigenous languages of northern Australia, the Gouldian Finch is known by names such as djurrkurl (in the Kunwinjku\/Bininj Kunwok language) and ninhninh (in part of Western Arnhem Land and the Northern Territory). Only around 3000 mature Gouldian Finches remain in the wild in northern Australia. Gouldian Finches come in three naturally occurring head colour morphs- black (about 70 per cent), red (about 30 per cent) and yellow (by far the rarest at less than 1 per cent)- all within the same species.\u003c\/em\u003e\u003cspan\u003e”\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eCard size closed is 5inch x 7inch(127mm x 178mm).
