A stunning 40mm Ammonite fossil sliced in half with a small agate bead. Wire wrapped with oxidised copper wire into a wonderful and unique pendant, one of a kind. Photos taken in direct sunlight and inside light. A truly unique item that can never be duplicated.
Ammonites are the fossils of ancient cephalopods with coiled shells, now extinct. The soft internal chambers of this shellfish have calcified, and are often opalised on the outside shell.
Material - Oxidised pure copper wire
Size - The finished pendant measures 55 mm long.
Necklace - 60cm dark copper chain. If you would prefer a 45cm leather cord please let me know.
