I have used both Stainless Steel and Jewellers Aluminium links in this weave.Bracelet length is approx 19.5cm with stainless steel parrot clipChain Maille is made up of a pattern (called a weave) of interlocking links. Is composed mainly of rings interlocked in varying patterns for diversity in appearance, flexibility and drape.I use a combination of both Stainless Steel and Jewellers Aluminium as it allows nice movement of the links and gives a multi colour effect.Chain Maille weaves are designed for strength and will not break or come apart. Neither the Stainless Steel nor the Aluminium specifically made for jewellery, will oxidise. and will stay as bright as the day it was made.I take pride in my work and if there are any issues once purchased would appreciate contacting me in order to sort.Information on Metals usedBright AluminumHypo allergenic, will not tarnish, 1/3 the weight of steel and the end result will be as strong as galvanized steel. Is clean, shiny, and resists oxidationStainless SteelContains Nickel, will not tarnish or change colourNote:Surgical Stainless Steel contains more nickel than the stainless steel I use in my jewellery. Nickel is usually what people react to.
