As my interest in jewellery grew, I wanted to explore new ways of creating and working with different materials, which led me to silversmithing classes. I quickly discovered how much I loved working with silver and the hands-on process of transforming metal into something beautiful and wearable.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eSince then, I've continued to develop my skills and particularly enjoy working from intricate patterns found in jewellery-making books, carefully constructing designs such as Byzantine, Turkish Round and Celtic-inspired pieces. I also love experimenting with different silversmithing techniques to create unique pieces, often allowing the materials and the making process to influence the final result.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eEvery piece is made slowly and carefully by hand. The individual components are shaped, assembled and hand-soldered rather than mass-produced, giving each piece the character and individuality of genuine handmade jewellery.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eI create my jewellery in Stanthorpe, in Queensland's beautiful Granite Belt.
