Bobbin lace is something you don't see much anymore — each piece is built pin by pin, thread by thread, on a pillow, with dozens of bobbins moving in sequence. A single bookmark can take 11–12 hours to complete. It's slow work, and it's meant to be — that's where the detail and the durability come from. Alongside it, I crochet shawls, baby blankets, and scarves, choosing every colourway by hand.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eI use good materials because they're worth the time I put in: Bendigo Woollen Mills wool-cotton blends and indie-dyed Australian merino, much of it from small local dyers. Nothing mass-produced, nothing rushed.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eIf you're buying from Legacy Laceworks, you're buying something that was made by one person, at one table, over many hours — not assembled on a line.
