About AnnieGeorgina

I love fabric. I really do. Ever since I was a little girl I've been surrounded with fabrics, yarns, buttons, threads and lace.

The amazingly talented women in my family line have all been the same. My Mum, Aunty Shirley, Grandma and Great Grandmother have been a huge influence on me. My mum taught me to sew and my Grandma taught me to knit and crochet right when I was very young.

I loved sewing Barbie clothes when I was little and I kept the interest going as I grew up, sewing clothes for family and friends when I was in high school. I then went on to become a Home Economics teacher.

So as tribute to the strong line of incredibly creative women in my family, I named my little business ‘AnnieGeorgina’ after my Great Grandmother.
The colours I chose – pink and green, for my logo were my Grandma’s favourite colour combination. Good one Grandma Ivins!

I truly get great enjoyment and an immense amount of satisfaction creating quality feminine clothing. I hope you love them too.

You can be assured that every stitch has been happily made by me in the beautiful Sunshine Coast. It’s an absolute pleasure making garments for people and I love hearing their feedback and seeing their photos!! 10% of every sale goes to ‘Destiny Rescue’ which is dedicated to rescuing children from human trafficking and sexual exploitation in Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, India and Mozambique.
Thanks for having a look. I hope you find something you like. Julie
