About Bursaria Workshop

I am a designer and print maker. I live in the Australian bush outside the lovely town of Braidwood, NSW. Living here, I've become acutely aware of the rhythms of nature in a way that I love – where the stars are, when the new moon appears, which insects arrive in which season. It's made me realise that close inspection of so many everyday things can reveal something beautiful, strange or even amusing.

I am very focused on sourcing sustainably produced, environmentally responsible materials and use only organic fabrics. Working in this way makes sense to me and I'm improving these credentials all the time.

By the way, Bursaria is a prickly bush which grows over large areas of Australia. It appears inhospitable but a closer look reveals wonderful fragrant flowers, beautiful purse-shaped seed pods and tiny bird nests hidden in the spikes...

Some of my products are available at wholesale prices. Let me know if you are interested and I will provide you with a pricelist.
