About Sundown Creations

Our sincere thanks to Made it for permitting us to have this group shopfront.

Sundown Art and Craft Group was formed in 2018 for the Sundown Village's residents and Sundown Motel's staff (and for any of their family and friends). We meet every Tuesday in our Village Hall to do art and craft activities in a fun and social atmosphere. Our members consist of artists, crafters and hobbyists of all types, ranging in age from 4 to 85 plus. We have some talented artists who exhibit their work in Canberra and Queanbeyan and we are very fortunate in having a a wonderful group of creative people who happily share their art and craft knowledge and skills with any other resident who wishes to learn.

Our members activities include painting, drawing, solar printing and printmaking, card making, marbling, dyeing, bead work & jewellery, quilting, sewing, weaving, knitting & crochet, toy making, texture and mixed media art, model railways, scrapbooking, decoupage, upcycled art and craft and more. We have items for sale in the Sundown Motel office/shop at Narrabundah Lane, Symonston and are now placing some of our art, gifts and home ware items here online. We hope that you enjoy looking at our creations.
