Store Policies

If you have any questions or feel that you don't have enough information or photos to make a firm decision about an item, please contact me before purchase as I usually ship within the same day.
Please read the measurements of items carefully and make sure that quilts are the right size for the purpose for which you are buying them. I will not accept returns or refunds because you have changed your mind or not read the details correctly but will if the item has been damaged or is faulty.

Where free shipping is offered in the purchase for domestic sales if you return an item after contacting me with the reason a handling fee of 15% will be taken from the refund to cover the cost to myself for shipping, OR the cost of the shipping originally charged will not be refunded. It is also the buyer's responsibility to pay for return shipping

DAMAGED ITEMS will need to be followed up through the postal system and will take some time to resolve, but refunds will be credited to you as soon as the money comes through. You will need to keep the packaging and item as evidence of the problem.
I will not refund because you changed your mind so please choose carefully.

LOST PACKAGES: I will make every effort to ensure your purchase is shipped in a timely manner, with secure packaging. Once it leaves my hands, however, I have no control of other countries postal systems or times items are held up in customs etc. Most items take about 2 weeks for delivery from Australia, but some can take up to 6 weeks due to unforeseen circumstances stated above. If this is a concern for you, please request that the item be insured and tracked for an increase in postage costs, these are not included automatically to try and keep postage costs down. Please contact me if you have further questions.

I will ship within 1 - 3 business days of receiving payment, usually the next day. I use Australia Post and can register your purchase on request for a small extra cost. Please contact me.

If the postage comes to less than that stated I will refund any amount over $1. Multiple purchases the same applies, and will be refunded on the day of posting the items.

PLEASE NOTE: Purchasers will be responsible for any customs/duty costs at their end.

Please be aware that International orders can take up to 6 weeks for an item to arrive (usually about 2 weeks) ... I have no control over postage times. Sometimes items are held up in customs, so please do order in plenty of time if it's for a special occasion.

Items that have been custom ordered or personalised are not returnable unless defective. I require a non refundable deposit of 40% of the agreed upon price on custom orders, the remaining cost being paid on completion of the item.

The sizes are always mentioned clearly in the descriptions, using both metric and imperial measurements. Please read carefully and ensure that you are buying the correct size for your needs.

FIRST TIME WASHING.. no matter how big or small the quilt you have purchased use a colour catcher (available in the laundry aisle of your supermarket) in case of colour run.
Wash in cold water on gentle cycle, light spin, preferably dry flat out of direct sunlight or tumble dry on low heat. All quilts will shrink slightly (1 - 3% is normal) due to being made from all cotton. This is normal.
BETWEEN WASHES you can gently vacuum to remove dust/crumbs etc
EMBROIDERED ITEMS please use a damp cloth over the embroidery design when ironing as the embroidery is made from polyester thread and can melt with a hot iron directly on top.
