Store Policies

PAYMENT
Payment is to be finalised within 48 hours of ordering from Madeit.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY
We post between 3-5 days of payment clearing to the address in your Madeit account. If you wish your order to be posted to a different address, please send us a message after checkout.

We use Standard Post to keep your costs to a minimum. Your jewellery will arrive surrounded in bubble wrap inside a padded envelope. As such we cannot take responsibility for breakages, postal delays or missing items. If you would like your order to be traceable, please choose Registered or Express Post when you check out. In these cases, jewellery will be gift boxed for extra protection. (extra charges will apply).

RETURNS
We happily accept returns. Contact us within 7 days of delivery. Please ship items back within: 30 days of delivery. NOTE: we cannot accept returns/exchanges on custom orders or earrings.

Conditions of return - Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

CANCELLATIONS/EXCHANGES
Unfortunately we cannot accept exchanges or cancellations, however please contact us if you have any problems with your order so that we can find the perfect solution!.

OUR JEWELLERY
By its very nature, much of what we sell is very old and either buried or otherwise left to the elements for many, many years. Natural wear and tear is the result and adds to the unique character of each item. You may find your piece has some discoloration, crazing or other characteristics. These are not faults, simply the result of nature's design process! We always endeavor to show these unique qualities in our descriptions and photography.
