Store Policies


Payment is to be made at time of purchase by PayPal.

Please make sure your PAYPAL DELIVERY/SHIPPING ADDRESS is up to date. I will SEND your order TO PAYPAL ADDRESS (as the default address). I cannot be held responsible for misdirected packages.

Upon payment being cleared your order will be processed immediately and shipped the next business day (if there is any delay, e.g. due to public holiday, I will contact you and keep you updated).

All items are ready to be sent (unless specified otherwise in product listings) and are packed with care to ensure they arrive in great condition. They are carefully wrapped and are sent to you in a box (some items also include a complimentary gift wrap - please see product descriptions). ALL ORDERS ARE DISPATCHED THE NEXT BUSINESS DAY FROM THE DATE OF ORDER.

All orders are shipped through AUSTRALIA POST via Parcel Post; delivery times depend on various factors including the shipping method chosen and your location.

Due to the evolving situation with coronavirus, Australia Post is now implementing additional measures when delivering parcels. All parcels will no longer require a signature for delivery or collection.

International shipping is NOT AVAILABLE.

a) International Standard; tracking included; usually takes 8-14 business days plus additional time required for customs clearance in your country
b) International Express - available upon request; please contact me for a quote

Please note: due to postal restrictions and requirements, some products are unavailable for international shipping. All items that are not available for international shipping are indicated on the product page (in product listings).

I cannot accept responsibility for any international duties and taxes, customs issues and refusals. Please check your country’s customs laws and regulations prior to purchase.

If you wish to purchase Insurance/Extra Cover, please contact me for a quote prior to finalising your order.


If you wish to pick up your item in person, please type in the code CAIRNSPICKUP (in all capital letters) in the Coupon Code section at checkout (the postage cost will be eliminated from your order). After receiving full payment, I will email you to arrange a time and place to collect your order. Pick up is not available on public holidays.

I will send you a NOTE to CONFIRM YOUR ORDER (Order Confirmation) and once YOUR ORDER HAS BEEN SHIPPED (Shipping Confirmation).
If you can, please let me know when your order arrives, or better still, leave a little feedback. It would be much appreciated.

Positive Feedback is very important for my small handmade business. If for any reason you are not pleased with your purchase, please contact me before leaving negative feedback. I would appreciate it if you give me the opportunity to solve any problem.
I want you to be happy with your purchase. Your satisfaction is the highest priority and I take the utmost care and meticulously inspect each item before shipping.

If you have any QUERIES after receiving the item, please contact me as soon as possible and before returning the item to me. Returns for refund or exchange will be accepted up to 30 days from purchase.

I will gladly assist you in replacing or refunding the item (the item price only) if:

a) the item is “faulty”

b) and the item is sent back to me in the same (unused) condition as you (the receiver) received it with all original packaging and a receipt/proof of purchase (include a copy of your receipt).

Please ensure you also obtain a receipt for proof of postage. I strongly encourage you to return your item via Registered Post or a trackable delivery service as we cannot refund or replace an item until I have received your return.

Upon receiving and inspecting your return, I will send you an email to notify you of receiving your return and the refund approval/rejection. If you are approved, it may take up to 14 business days depending on payment method/financial institution to process your refund. Shipping costs are not refundable.

Exchange items will not be identical due to the handmade process behind each item, but will be of similar design and material of the item purchased.

Shipping costs for returning items for refund or exchange are to be paid by the customer.

Please be aware that the colour of the actual item may slightly differ from what you see on your monitor screen due to native differences in monitor calibration and settings. I will not accept returns on this basis.

Please choose carefully and read item descriptions before making a purchase as no refunds will be given if you have simply changed your mind.

Mail returns/exchanges to PO Box 75, Trinity Beach QLD 4879, Australia.

Please note I cannot offer compensation for lost or damaged items and any delays once they are lodged with the postal service.

If your item does not arrive within the estimated shipping time and is more than 5 days late (for domestic delivery) or more than 10 days late (for international delivery), please feel free to contact me after this time to work through a solution.
Decorations may be flattened or distorted during shipping. Gently fluff, stretch or arrange them. To properly care for your item, protect it from water, moisture, wind and strong ultraviolet radiation (such as direct sunlight). Make your dusty decorations clean and shiny again with a soft brush.

Decorative Floral Picks:
Not water proof. Not water resistant. They should be removed from a pot/planter before watering your plant.

Keep out of reach of young children. The items are NOT TOYS, they are for decorative purposes only. I cannot be held responsible for any injuries or loss caused by the use of the items.

You can apply the codes at checkout (one code per order/per customer please). Excludes postage costs. Not valid in conjunction with any other special offer unless specifically stated.
I take custom orders from time to time, in a limited amount of orders at a time. I will keep you updated on custom order re-opening.
Please note Custom Orders are non-refundable unless the order is incorrect.
M Decor Botanica (ABN 90 729 836 803) is not registered for GST so there is no GST included on payments.
