Store Policies

Payment is expected at time of purchase. A proof will be emailed to you within time stated in my shop announcement.

If you pay with an e-cheque through paypal, please keep in mind it takes 3-7 business days to clear with your bank. A proof will not be emailed until PayPal notifies me that the check has cleared.

Posted items are sent via regular post through Australia Post. OS parcels will be shipped via air mail.


------------ COMMON QUESTIONS ABOUT CUSTOMISED CARDS ------------

1. Can I request a custom design from you?

No. I am currently not taking on any custom design orders. You may only pick from my current designs in my store.

2. Can you retouch my photo?

I can do basic photo editing such as changing your photo to black + white, and brightening your photo. I do not remove/blur backgrounds or other retouching as part of the price. If you need this done, a $12 photo editing fee will apply. (this is a minimum price, please contact me regarding a retouching brief for an exact price)

3. How do I print my Jpeg?

You print your Jpeg as you would any standard photo file. You can take to a professional printer, print at home on your own printer, print at a photo booth or order online from a printing company such as Snapfish.

4. What can be customised on my design?

All wording can be customised, as well as some colours. Please check with me before purchasing if you have a big colour change request. Any other customisation such as adding/removing graphics, changing from landscape to vertical and vice versa, or adding more photos will incur an additional design change fee. The fee will vary depending on the change required so please contact me first so I can give you an exact price.

Actual printed colors may vary from those viewed on computer screens. Color variations between different printers is also likely. I encourage printing a test copy of your proof to ensure you are happy with the printed colours. Hip Ink Hooray will not be responsible for any colour variations or typos once you have approved your final proof.

Also it i wise to do a test print with your printer of choice using your final file, before you print a large mass of your invites/announcements. This way you can be sure you are happy with the quality of the printer, its colours and detect any problems there may be with the file itself.


---------- COMMON QUESTIONS ABOUT COMMERCIAL TEMPLATE PACKS ----------

1. Can I request a custom template pack?

No. My template packs are sold as is and I do not swap/add designs to my packs.

2. Do the templates come with sample photos?

No. You must use your own images for display purposes. Stock images can be found from websites such as Shutterstock.com

3. Can I create matching backsides to the templates after I purchase.

Yes! You certainly can.

4. Can the templates be used for a different occasion? Eg. A birth announcement be changed to an invitation?

Yes, as long as you keep the general design the same, all wording can be changed to suit any occasion.

5. Do the templates come with clipping masks?

No, I sell a lot of templates to stay at home mums etc who are not as photoshop savvy as photographers etc and found that clipping masks could be really confusing for a lot of people. It is still very easy to insert photos into my templates and instructions are included on how to do so.
If you would prefer clipping masks to be included, just send me a message, I can add them in for you! (mini template packs only)

6. Really wish you could sell the designs from my Bulk Template packs on Etsy and/or Madeit? Contact me to ask about purchasing an extended license. They are $35 each per bulk pack and gives you the rights to sell them on Etsy/Madeit without needing to credit Hip Ink Hooray!
