Selling on Madeit

Each month we will be accepting new Artists to sell on Madeit.

Due to the large number of Artists wanting to join the platform we have created a waitlist. you will be emailed details when you can submit your application.

The current wait time for this is approximately 2-3 weeks.

The Madeit platform is an application process to sell on the platform as we are a curated artisan platform.

To join our vibrant community of Artisans on Madeit, simply fill in your details to join the waitlist.

You will then be notified via email when it is time to submit your application (approx 2-3 weeks from joining the waitlist).

To apply you will need to complete a questionnaire of approx 30 questions plus submit 3 images of your creations and your logo.

Make sure you check our Madeit Benchmarks to ensure you are eligible to apply.

Madeit is dedicated to Australian artisans and their unique craftsmanship. If you're an artisan residing in Australia and your creations are handmade, you're welcome to apply.

Filling out the application form should take around 10 minutes. Once submitted, please allow 5-10 business days for our team to review your application.

No. Our primary role is to provide Australian Artists a digital platform to sell their handmade creations so they can simplify and supercharge their online sales & presence.

This means that you don't need to have your own website or keep up with the changes online to be able to sell your creations.

While we are committed to promoting the platform and investing in marketing, we cannot guarantee sales.

Our private Facebook community is a hub of knowledge-sharing and constructive feedback. We also share weekly tips and strategies to help you enhance your online presence and boost sales.

Products & Fees on Madeit

We celebrate originality and craftsmanship! All products on Madeit must be handmade by the Artist.

Please note, we're not currently accepting internationally sourced products and focusing solely on handmade items.

To ensure the highest quality on our platform, we have created Madeit Benchmarks defining our standards for handmade products and quality expectations.

Madeit operates on a subscription model. There's a flat transaction fee of 2% + 35c for payment processing. We take no commissions from your sales, ensuring you keep the majority of your earnings. We believe in empowering our artisans, not burdening them.

You will need a standard stripe account for Madeit to pay you for purchases from customers.

Your subscription to sell on the platform is automatically debited via Mastercard/Visa.

Your subscription grants you access to:

  • A platform to showcase and sell your creations without the need for a personal website.
  • Our private Facebook community of artisans for networking, support, and growth.
  • Weekly tips, tricks, and methods to optimize your store and sales.
  • An opportunity to list your products in our public Facebook group.

Our platform is designed to be user-friendly. You can easily set up your store without any technical know-how. Plus, our community and support team are always here to help!
