Driftwood Art 25cm ring and stand

designed and handcrafted by fosic this interesting decor piece could find a place anywhere in the home or office.
A 25 cm metal ring has been bound with natural twine onto which is threaded cut pieces of locally sourced driftwood .
Found on the beaches of the Mornington Peninsula the driftwood has been cut and cleaned before being used to create this piece.
The addition of two wooden beads complete the ring.
Driftwood comes in all sizes and shapes and the base of the ring has been cut from a chunky piece. The growth rings of the original tree can be seen and add extra interest.
A handformed metal rod, painted black sits into the base and holds the ring in place.
