These earrings have a pastel blue/green base, two layers are applied and fired separately in my kiln at 800 degrees.
Once cooled I’ve applied a beautiful floral decal, letting it dry overnight.
Decals are very finicky things and can be easily burn and become an awful mess. The kiln temperature must be lowered to just below 700 degrees to achieving a perfect firing.
Once cooled I file the edges to remove any fire scale and then buff until smooth and shiny
The ear hooks are made from argentium silver wire and are great for sensitive ears
Each earring measures 3.7cm long and 1.5cm at their widest point.
