Meet 'Holly'.....she is a sweet sock hippopotamus, approx 40cm tall.
Holly is made from a pair of mauve and white pin striped socks. She is wearing her favourite beanie and scarf made from a pair of pretty pink socks. Her beanie is topped off with a handmade mauve pom pom.
(Each sock hippo's hat and scarf are sewn on for safety reasons).
Sock hippos make the perfect friends because they are really soft and lovely to cuddle.....and are easily cleaned by gently hand washing in warm soapy water.
Each sock animal is lovingly package up in brown paper and then decorated with some gift paper and twine.
Materials used: new socks, yarn and polyester filling.
