Custom Watercolour Pet Portrait Painting, 2 Sizes available

Most of us love animals, especially our precious pets. Whether you just want to celebrate your fur or feather baby or remember one that is no longer with you, I would love to bring your dream to life. At this time I paint mostly in watercolour and define my style as very tight and detailed. You can view a few examples of my previous paintings in the pictures above to see if my style is what you are after.

Painting Details:
This listing is for a head/shoulders painting of your pet or a full body in the case of a bird. The subject/s are painted on a white background normally, however I am happy to add a light wash background around the subject if you would prefer. This listing is for an unframed and unmatted painting. I use 300gsm Arches smooth watercolour paper and professional Holbein and Winsor & Newton watercolour paints. I offer two sizes -
A4 - approximately 8 x 12 inches
Being a smaller size, I can only paint one subject on an 8 x 12 inch.

A3 - Approximately 12 x 16 inches
This size can accommodate up to two subjects.

Process Details:
I will need you to send me good quality photos, preferably high resolution of your pet/s. I will email you a PDF after purchase that will give you some details of what photos are best and some tips if you need to take some specifically for the commission.
I usually allow up to 4 weeks to complete a painting, however this can be extended if the painting is particularly large or has more than two subjects and in this situation I will let you know a time frame at the time of quoting. During the painting process I will always notify you of any delays and will give you regular updates.

Shipping:
Within Australia - Free shipping which will include tracking and insurance.
International Shipping - $35 which includes tracking and insurance.

Other details:
Refunds & Cancellations - I always allow a 48 hour cooling off period for my customers and cancellations during this time are refunded in full. Unfortunately, I am unable to provide refunds once work has started. The reason for this is that custom commissioned paintings are of a very personal nature. If a cancellation was made, I would be left with a painting that I would not be able to sell to recoup my time and costs. In light of this, I would ask that you consider this carefully before purchasing. Thanks so much for understanding!
