Heady Sterling silver wire wrapped Boulder opal pendant

A beautifully pale green coloured Australian Boulder opal with flashes of darker green in the light. (Very hard to catch in a photo!) It's been coated with a jewellery grade resin. Wire wrapped in lots of sterling silver wire in coil and weave and the finished pendant measures approx. 40mm long from the bail. This one of a kind pendant comes with a free Sterling silverplated chain that can easily be changed, in an organza bag.

My Opals
I source my opals from local miners, cut and polish most myself. It's often a messy thing to do requiring a lot of patience and persistence, and a glorious delight to find that colour within a stone. I tend to like the unusual ones, the unique and different that are often overlooked yet bring such beauty. All opals are solid unless otherwise stated. The essence of Australia, a wonderful gift.
