Dark carved Boulder opal pendant Sterling silver wire wrapped

A lovely dark Australian Boulder opal carved to highlight flashes of rainbow gem colour. It is wire wrapped in sterling silver wire into a lovely classic pendant. The finished pendant measures 30 mm and it comes on a free silver plated chain in an organza bag.

My Opals
I source my opals from local miners, cut and polish most myself. It's often a messy thing to do requiring a lot of patience and persistence, and a glorious delight to find that colour within a stone. I tend to like the unusual ones, the unique and different that are often overlooked yet bring such beauty. All opals are solid unless otherwise stated. The essence of Australia, a wonderful gift.
