Handcrafted Australian Timber Pen Box- Tasmanian Blackwood

Crafted from premium Tasmanian Blackwood, our Kali Pen Box design features a removable insert,
made from Celery Top Pine, that can be used separately as a pen tray. The body of the box is routed
from a solid piece of quality timber and the finely shaped lid is attached with high quality concealed
brass hinges. A lid lip tapers from the centre to the box line to provide a lift point to open the box. The
interior of each box is hand sanded before the exterior is linished in a graded process to create a nice
smooth finish. The box finish is protected with two coats of premium clear lacquer, which retains the
lovely natural colour of the timber. The interior bottom of the box is lined with black wool felt, sourced
from an Australian manufacturer, located in Melbourne.
