Jarrah, Mahogany & Myrtle Wooden Pencil Holder

This pencil holder is made from figured Australian Jarrah (main material) in between two thin strips of Myrtle (cream coloured) and two thicker pieces of Mahogany (orange coloured). Each pencil holder is hand made right here in Sydney, Australia.

- Each piece is carefully hand sanded prior to assembly and again post assembly to ensure a smooth finish.

- Finished with 5 coats of premium polyurethane with hand sanding between coats and a final layer of buffed beeswax resulting in very protective, but also very smooth, medium sheen.

- This length of Jarrah was highly figured resulting in large natural voids in some sections. Black epoxy has been used to fill these voids and ensure a smooth finish. If you would prefer a highly figured box or a less figured one, please select which variation prior to purchase. Refer to the photos if you are unsure.

NOTE: Colours can vary between computer screens and the product may have a slightly different colour from what you see on screen. As these are handmade items, each one will have some variation in colour and wood grain.
