Yellow Octopus and Starfish Felt Embroidered Wall Hanging Bunting Banner

I hope you enjoy my felt octopus and starfish wall hanging bunting banner in shades of orange, yellow and green .

I am seeking to evoke the sheer delight you feel when you see something whimsical, charming and amusing. That feeling you had as a child when magic was real and the world was fresh and new. This feeling of delight informs my wire sculptural pieces. I want the creatures of my imagination to come alive in felt.

The bunting features 3 creatures - a yellow octopus with beading and a cute flower, and 2 starfish with beading, joined by sections of embroidered seaweed. It is designed to be wall mounted with 3 hanging points - 2 ends from felt on the outer seaweed sections and a third optional one in the middle on the back of the octopus made of a loop of felt, if you would prefer a 2 curve styling. All the sections of the banner are constructed separately and then securely sewn together. The arms on both the octopus and starfish are able to be gently posed.

The aquatic creatures are all made from a wire armature enclosed in felt and padding, and embroidered and decorated with seed beads.

This is a wall sculpture with small parts and is not suitable for play and should be kept out of reach of small children. The banner measures 62cm in length, the starfish are each 14cm * 13cm, and the octopus measures 19cm * 17cm. This is an art piece and can only be gently spot cleaned.
