"Spring Flowers" original hand painted acrylic clutch with plastic cover

Spring Flowers is a one of a kind hand painted and sewn clutch designed to fit your phone, money & cards, or anything else you put in your purse. The ultimate accessory for any colour and flower loving fashionista. Why go for the same old thing, why not go bold and go original.

To create this design I began the process on my Gelli plate (a soft, flexible gelatin-like surface), working intuitively using various hand-cut stencils. I printed many layers of abstract shapes and colours on top of each other meaning the work is made up of multiple layers of paint. Then to finish the piece off I hand-painted sections to make the pretty flowers stand out.

To get long term use out of your clutch it needs to be treated with care. Each piece is hand-painted and unique and the paint may leave slight marks on the inside of the Plastic cover. This is usually not noticeable until removing the cover. To prevent this, don’t leave your clutch in the sun, car or on a hot table while enjoying lunch with friends. Show it off but then place it back in your bag. If paint marks do occur on the inside of the plastic cover, these can be removed with eucalyptus oil or tea tree oil.
