"Stars in the Sand" original acrylic prainting on paper

This piece is an original abstract prainting (a print/painting mix) created on quality paper using acrylic paints. I began the process on my Gelli plate (a soft, flexible gelatin-like surface). Working intuitively using various hand-cut paper stencils I printed an abstract design onto a plain piece of paper. This step was repeated several times meaning the work is made up of many layers of paint all printed on top of each other. Then to finish the piece off I hand-painted sections in a darker yellow colour and to me, it looks like a series of stars etched into the sand. This artwork is one of a kind and was lots of fun to create.

Artwork size = 10.5 cm x 15.5 cm
Total size (including matt around art) = 20 cm x 25 cm = 8 x 10 Inches

Fits standard 8 x 10 inch frame that can be found in places like Ikea, Office Works, or Kmart (frame not included)
Comes with matt, foam core backing, and in a plastic sleeve for protection
