HANDMADE BY GLENDA MAC NAUGHTON, DAX GLASS ART
Inspirations: A gorgeous little hand-blown bud vase to celebrate women's rights to be heard in the swirling colours of the women's movement - green, white and purple. Created when the 'Me too' movement was gaining momentum. It's tiny but it carries a big message.
Like all of my handblown glass sculptures, this is a one-of-a-kind piece of glass art. It will fit just about anywhere - your workspace, your living space or someone else's space and add a touch of intrigue and elegance to it. A great gift for you or someone you know to celebrate dawn and/or winter .... whether or not it's your favourite time of day or year. Or perhaps you or someone you know just loves these swirling colours.
Materials: Murano (Italy) glass but hand-blown and patterned with 99% pure silver here on the Bellarine Peninsula in southeastern Australia by me. I've used an up-cycled base with a hand-blown stand.
Dimensions: W: 3.5 cm H: 3cm D: 3.5 cm
Packaging: I'll package to keep it secure and safe as it travels through the postage system. Where possible I use re-usable and/or recyclable packaging.
