Australian Sulphur Crested Cockatoo Lino Cut Print / Original Bird Print

This is an original linocut of one of Australia's most iconic birds, the curious and intelligent Sulphur-crested Cockatoo.

I have created these prints by hand carving a piece of lino, rolling ink onto the lino and hand printing the print onto the paper. A second print is then added over the top to add the yellow features. I finished it off by adding some black to the bill and eye.

Paper: Strathmore acid free paper

Your hand signed print will be one of only 50 created, each one slightly different which makes it unique.

The prints are sold unmounted and unframed, but is just right to slot into a standard frame and mount. The paper size is approximately 29.5 x 22cm and the printed area is 26.5 x 20.5 cm.
