This painting depicts the narrow part of the lake at Forestdale, Queensland. It was once a sand mine. Now a haven for birds and wildlife, a Saturday morning walk becomes a social occasion with nature lovers of all interests. Waterbirds like ducks and cormorants are frequent visitors. This painting is acrylic paint and small pieces of batik fabric. I use the effect of fabric and paper in most of my paintings to enhance the effect of the decorative element. Ready to hang and 40cms by 30cms. Price includes postage.
